Stakeholder Management Assistant
The External Relations team is an integral part of the Institute encompassing Fundraising, Partnership & Events, Comms, Media & Publishing, and our Creative Studio Hub which incorporates Design, Web and Social Teams.
We are looking for a talented professional to work as part our fundraising and partnerships team to co-ordinate, review and maintain stakeholder data on our new CRM. The postholder will assist with stakeholder engagement and provide ad hoc support to the Fundraising and Donor Relations team during an exciting period of growth.
We have a high-level, global stakeholder network which the postholder will assist in engaging to amplify our message and generate opportunities through a wide range of communications and events. This is a data-heavy role where the maintenance of stakeholder records and marketing lists, identification of gaps in the data and the mapping of networks for engagement will be at the fore. The post-holder will work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at an exciting time of growth and evolution of which the CRM and network engagement and development will take a central position.
- Assisting with the maintenance of stakeholder data on the CRM to ensure data integrity and use across the organisation.
- Running regular reports to identify gaps in the data and to maintain data quality
- Maintaining relationships with superusers to ensure accurate data collection and engagement tracking.
- Assisting with the effective use of data and the database to support organisation-wide strategic goals.
- Supporting the use of data for stakeholder engagement purposes; including maintaining and building marketing lists.
- Providing support with stakeholder engagement, coordinating outreach for mailings and events.
- Assisting with internal and external mail out campaigns
- Managing responses and referrals submitted to the Institute email mailbox
- Providing administrative support to the Director of Philanthropy and Business Development.
- Providing ad hoc support to the Fundraising and Donor relations team, including research and administrative duties.
- Experience of using a database system, preferably Dynamics 365, and of collating, organising and utilising large amounts of complex data.
- Strong verbal and written communication is essential.
- An excellent eye for detail and ability to review, analyse and cross-reference data for quality control.
- Proven ability to multi-task and stay organised while working at pace and to respond quickly to changing situations.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to think creatively and problem solve.
- The ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and to work on own initiative to ensure work is completed accurately and on time
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and apply new skills as business needs evolve
- Excellent IT skills.
- GDPR knowledge
- An interest in, and knowledge of, current affairs and politics
- Experience and knowledge of stakeholder management is desirable.
